The search for the next Arsenal manager is heating up and it looks like Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri is now a firm favourite to land the Arsenal job at the end of the season.

The latest report from The Sun on Sunday via TeamTalk claims that Allegri is willing to replace the Frenchman at Arsenal after 22 years at the helm. It was further reported that he the Italian manager apparently has told his close friend he is learning English and is keen on a move to England.

If the exclusive report from The Sun is true, then it looks like Allegri is willing to join Arsenal and will be quitting his job at Turin at the end of the season should Arsene Wenger decide to leave the club, or the club decides to end his contract prematurely.

With an automatic Champions League place all but out of reach, Arsenal are on course to finish sixth at best, our worst position ever under Wenger. The only hope of any silverware at the club right now is the Europa League which can offer a back door route into the Champions League should Wenger steer his side to victory.

The North London club are not the only club who has Allegri on their wishlist as fellow London club, Chelsea are also said to be monitoring his situation at Juventus, Arsenal are also said to be looking at four other managers to replace Wenger.

Allegri would be the perfect man for Arsenal due to his impeccable record with Juventus, reaching two Champions League finals in three years, definitely the sort of successful manager we are crying out for to replace Wenger.
