Chelsea come to North London tonight to try and book their place in the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City, who edged past Bristol City at Ashton Gate last night in an entertaining game which ended 3-2 to the visitors, City running out 5-3 winners on aggregate.

New signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan will have to delay his debut until next week as he played for Manchester United in the earlier rounds of the competition.

Nacho Monreal hopes to recover from a hamstring tweak which saw him limp off during our game against Crystal Palace at the weekend, but not before a goal and two assists.

Sead Kolasinac could return after missing a few recent games through injury, and Aaron Ramsey will have a late fitness test to see if he’s ready to return.

Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck will both miss the game through injury, leaving us a bit short of firepower, a worry against a team like Chelsea.

Chelsea will have a few missing themselves, with Gary Cahill and Fabregas struggling to make the game while Pedro and Morata are out due to suspension, both seeing red in FA Cup against Norwich last week. The big news today is that Goal report that Chelsea’s superstar keeper is OUT of the game with a with an ankle injury, he’s missed their last two games with injury so you’d have thought Conte would be unwilling to risk him in a league cup game.
