According to El Gol Digital, Deportivo Coruna are trying to sign our cup keeper David Ospina.

They claim that the Spaniards are tracking Ospina and could try and take advantage of the Lucas Perez situation in the hope of shoehorning him into a deal to sign Perez permanently.

The Colombian has been out for some of the season with a groin injury and has missed a few of the cup games he would have played in, so it’s not been the best of seasons for everyone’s favourite clumsy South American who has only played in four games.

He also dropped a bit of a clanger which indirectly cost Alexis Sanchez a place at the World Cup in Russia, so probably not the most popular person at The Emirates right now, given the Chilean’s propensity for a sulky tantrum.

Ospina is out of contract in 2019, so could be open to a deal especially given that he hardly ever gets a league start and is seen as understudy to Arsene Wenger’s first choice keeper Petr Cech.
