Borussia Dortmund’s Chief Scout, Sven Mislintat Has joined can Arsenal with everything now agreed with the German giants according to German newspaper, Bild.

The news about him moving to North London has been floating around for a while but was confirmed by the club this afternoon and all is now sorted out for him to move to England. However, the ‘super scout’ will cost Arsenal some compensation as he will be prematurely leaving his contract at Dortmund which was set to run until 2021.

Bild is reporting the fee to be around €2m, his role is thought to be similar to that he held at Dortmund as he will be involved in all aspects of Arsenal’s recruitment processes.

Most notable among his signings for BVB are Robert Lewandowski, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ousmane Dembélé and Christian Pulisic.

Mislintat decided to leave the club when he started having problems with the former manager, Thomas Tuchel who barred him from attending training sessions and from there things became untenable for the pair.

It was only a matter of time before he left and it looks like Dortmund’s loss and some rather convenient timing is Arsenal’s gain. Welcome to the club Sven!
