As the transfer window creaks to a close on August 31st, it looks like we will be sending Jon Toral on season-long loan to Championship side Hull City, according to reports.

Sky Sports report that the ace has agreed the move and that he will soon undergo a medical with the club.

Since joining Arsenal back in 2012 Toral has failed to make even a single appearances for the Gunners, instead spending his time in the Championship, La Liga and Scottish Premiership and now Toral is being linked with a new move back to the Championnship to join the Tigers in a season long loan deal.

The 22-year-old had been in good form while starring for Birmingham city at Brentford in the 2015/16 campaign, while on loan with the Blues, Toral scored 8 goals in 36 appearances for the championship side picking up the club’s goal of the season award along with the Players’ and Supporters’ Player of the Season awards.

Although the young attacker’s next loan season was not as successful as expected, Arsene Wenger has been looking to offload some players from his squad and Toral has been deemed surplus to requirements and the Spaniard will become the ninth player to join the Tigers this summer.

Toral has proved to be a good attacking midfielder in the Championship and should be able to impress at Hull as the team try to bounce straight back into the Premier League.
