A report in The Daily Mail claims that under-fire manager Arsene Wenger has informally told his players that he will be leaving the club.

The ‘news’ outlet suggests that supremo Stan Kroenke is still a big fan of Wenger and is still trying to convince him to remain at The Emirates.

Wenger has failed to win the title since the 2003/2004 season and it now a lot of Arsenal fans want him to leave the club with a protest set to be held this evening before the Munich game. It’s also thought that a pro-Wenger march is also planned.

I can personally see the evening going something like this…

In the light of recent Arsenal inconsistency, Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez is so frustrated with goings on at Arsenal, he’s set to leave, and there are also question marks over the future of Mesut Ozil, Jack Wilshere, Hector Bellerin, Petr Cech, David Ospina and these are just the ones we know about.

After a bad string of results, and defeats at the hands of Watford, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Liverpool of late, Arsene Wenger looks to have lost the dressing room, and with the return leg of our tie with Munich tonight, things are probably about to get a lot worse before they get better.

The club has now come under pressure from disgruntled Arsenal fans claiming they want Wenger sacked, and the Mail reports claims the club are now eyeing Max Allegri to continue where Wenger left off if the rumours of the Frenchman’s departure are true.

Not a lot to play for tonight but a respectable performance, and some blood, sweat and tears from our players will be more than welcome, and more than overdue, thats putting it mildly.
