It’s all a bit quiet today following last week’s Vardy news hurricane, so I can only think there must be a tournament of back to back interlulls or something going on this week. Maybe one where England scrape through the group stages only to be knocked out in the quarter finals by Germany or Spain? Sounds strangely familiar for some reason.

International Watch…

Joel Campbell played 45 mins for Costa Rica, as they slumped to a 4-0 defeat by the United States in the Copa America. Alexis Sanchez’ Chile also lost 2-1 against Argentina…

We’re Bellerin the Money…

According to reports, the club is expected to offer a new deal to Hector Bellerin to ward off interest of Barcelona who are said to be keen on signing the youngster.

It’s also thought that Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and his dogs are also weighing up offers of a contract extension. No more leads on that story yet…

Debuchy to Quit…

According to the French newspaper all about sleeping, L’Équipe, Mathieu Debuchy is set to leave Arsenal this summer.

There were rumours that he’d stay and fight for his place, but following a poor spell at the club, the right back has apparently decided it’s time to leave…

…and Finally…

The Mirror are reporting that ex-Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen is on Liverpool and West Ham’s shopping list for the summer.

ZZZzzz.
