Swansea 3-2 Arsenal...
The mighty Arsenal took another massive stride towards next season's Europa League with another away defeat and a tantalisingly bad performance. Robin van Persie put us ahead on 5 minutes, but we found ourselves 2-1 down following yet another dubious penalty decision.
Rambo had a torrid game, Thierry Henry came on but couldn't save us this time, Theo managed to grab the equaliser only for the boys to lose concentration and let in the winner just seconds later as it looked like we could start going after the winner.
Very disappointing on a weekend when Spurs slide began, but still, long way to go yet but another game in which we have thrown a lead away (see Fulham, Wolves etc etc...)
Ah well, at least we aren't playing the Champions who stuffed us 8-2 this weeke--- oh.
Congratulations to Spurs!!
Not often you say that, but well done Tottenham on becoming the first EVER side to concede 1,000 Premier League goals! Well the year does have a one in it!
On the subject of the Champions Elect, Emmanuel Frimpong had a great game at White Hart Lane this weekend, earning the praise of his on loan manager Mick McCarthy: "He was really, really good. He put in a mature performance and I was really pleased with him..."
Frimpong smashed the ball in van der Vaart's face, got a yellow card and taunted the Spurs fans when he got subbed. Well played Agent Frimpong!
Not much else going on, the papers have even given up linking us with players now as we've got no cash!!
More later (next week) reader(s)...
