Injury Time...
As if we needed any more proof that Lady Luck is a big, fat fecker who supports Chelsea, Man U, Man C and Tottenham, then yesterday was it. 4pm comes the news that RVP will be out until mid-October, then, there I was trying to watch England's reprobates as Unlucky Theo was playing, and WALLOP, a big twisty foot injury, stretchers, and all sorts. So RVP mid-Oct, Theo at least two weeks, Lady Luck? What a bitch.

In slightly better news, Samir Nasri is looking well on the way to recovery and could be fit to face Boltan at the Emirates this weekend.

Squillaci Debut...
New boy Toto Squillaci braved the rains down in Africa and played for our Reserves against Blackburn Rovers last night, helping them to a 4-3 win. Full report here...

Along with Walcott, other players were involved around the world trying to not get injured. Stuart Pearce has been quick to applaud Little Jack Wilshere on his subs performance for the England U21s as he helped them/us to a Euro 11 play off spot. England were struggling until the introduction of upskirt Jack, and the game ended 3-0, Stuart Pearce said: Jack gave us a lift when he came on and had an impact on the game. For a young man, who in his own mind is expecting to be playing on Friday and then on the back of that was not in the starting line-up again, he has handled that extremely well..."
