He is reported as saying that: "The negotiations between Arsenal and Barcelona will be very long and both parties are going to have to sit down together a few times because the issue is a complicated one. I don't know how this is going to pan out but I believe you have to respect the decision and the wishes of the player. So there we go, with that, and the fact that Peter Hill-Wood has openly said there have been no bids for Fabregas, more conculsive evidence that still nothing has happened...

The sugar dealer (no really) has admimtted he has a penchant for things red with white sleeves, but won't be investing, he said: "I am a longstanding supporter of Arsenal Football Club and have been involved in conversations around investment in the past, however, I can say categorically at this time that I have no intention of investing in the club..."
