Phil/Luke Moving On... Cesc Picked... Keeper Rebuff...

< Previous | May 21st 2010 | Next story >

Luke Boosts His Ayling Career...
Defender Luke Ayling will join Yeovil Town on a permanent basis after his contract expired. The move is subject to a medical and he is expected to join the Town on July 1st. A statement on the club website said 'we would like to wish Luke every success...' Ah bless.

Worth a read, chants of the season... my favourite, simple but effective:

"Go compare!" West Ham fans to Rafa Benitez.

Lloris Not Moving...
Like most of the Arsenal side, French keeper Hugo Lloris is going nowhere. Following links linking him with a move to the Arsenal, Lloris has said: "I did not have to make a decision on this matter because firstly, I am still under contract with OL, and secondly, this leaving Lyon is not part of my short-term goals..." Just as well because we don't comment on speculative rumours...

Hey Bobby, whats French for come and join me in America you fricking has-been genius...

Spanish Squad Picked...
He's not been in the news much lately because of his injury, but Cesc Fabregas is in the 23 man Spanish World Cup squad destined for the World Cup next month. Spain are some people's favourites for the tournament unless you don't like them much and prefer other teams like Greece or Slovenia...

...or USA.

How Much is That Swisser in the Window...?
Phil Senderos has been hawking himself about a bit ahead of the World Cup, whats coming up. He is out of contract this summer, but angling for a move to another English club: "I'm at an ideal age, I'm going to play at the World Cup and I am a free transfer - what could be better? I would gladly stay in England..." Good luck Big Phil.
