Chamakh in Town... Gallas Picked... Bendtner Late Shocker!
Chamakh a Chat...
Reports coming out of Sky Sports News and others, seem to point to Marouane Chamakh is in London town this week and all set to sign on the dotted line for the mighty Arsenal. We've been courting him for months, and he's finally about to sign for next season's Champions League winners (thats us).
The Bordeaux President Jean Louis-Triaud is less than happy about the drawn out move for the Moroccan, and said: "We have proposed extensions to Marouane. Our first proposal was on January 1, 2009, he said he never spoke to Arsene Wenger. But I find it strange that he could be recruited by Arsenal without talking to the coach. I have had two difficult transfers since I arrived: Wiltord and Chamakh. These two departures relate to Arsenal..." Obviously because Wenger's henchman, Vic Akers did all the talking, now fire up the 2CV and suck it up Francois...
Not a bad wee strike... can't wait for Eboue to start trying these...
In further French news, Will.I.Am Gallas has kept his place in the French World Cup squad following Raymondo Dominatrix's tricky cut down to 23 players. Samir Nasri has to wait until August to get his leg broken by Diaby again and gets a nice rest this summer but Gallas, Clichy, Diaby and Sagna all make the side.
Its been rumoured that Gallas could leave for Real Madrid or Inter Milan this summer... Talking of transfers, still nothing in the papers about Cesc, nice to see, usually its silly season by now.
Now this is proper news...
Bendtner was 20 minutes late for training with Denmark due to an accident on the motorway...
Same Old Arsenal...
Always cheating...? Funny that we won the Fair Play Award this season then... probably because most of our players are too scared of breaking their legs against most of the teams we come up against. Ah well, they all count, its silverware!
American Dream...
Reports in Spain are rife that Thierry Henry will move to America this summer to play in the MLS. Its claimed he will play for the New Yoik Bulls, but is as usual, coy on his future:
"For the moment, nothing is certain. I am a Barcelona player and have another year left on my contract - currently, my only worry is preparing for the World Cup with France. I will have time to reflect on my future later..."
