Wenger Transfer Hints... Gallas... French Quartet... More...

Case for the Defence...
Arsene Wenger has admitted our defence has been 'average' this season.

Following another potless season, Sir Wenger has hinted towards his transfer strategy: "Going forward we have done very well but defensively we have been average. When you concede 40 goals you don’t win the championship and I want to rectify that. My transfer policy this summer will be to keep our strengths going forward, add one player, and add more defensive strength to our team..." ... and a keeper, pleeeeeeease!

WG Graceless...
Peter Hill Wood has taken a day off from hunting for elephants to reveal that William Gallas' new contract demands are 'extravagant'. PHW put down his blunderbus and picked up a large gin and tonic to explain the French defender was after a £120k a week and a 2 year deal, which frankly no stable, well run, sane club in its right mind would spend on an ageing, slightly mental, injury prone defender defender.

No club that is, apart from Spurs of course... who are being linked with Gallas to help them qualify for the European Cup for the first time since 1962...

No Need...
OY! Le Grove, pack it in with the misleading headlines, its f*cking annoying...

Four Play...
Despite Samir Nasri being left out, Bacary Sagna, Gael Clichy, Abu Diaby and William Gallas have been picked for the French preliminary squad of 30, at least Nasri get a nice rest over the summer...

One for the kidz, Lethal Bizzle is a Goonerizzle innit worth a read for the first sentence alone...

Baku to the Future for Adams...
Legend Tony Adams is the new manager of Gabala FC, the Azerbaijani side only founded five years ago. Adams has failed in his previous managerial efforts, but wants another chance to give this new challenge a good go: "I think I'm going to do five, 10 [years] here, I want this to be the 'Tony Adams club'. I was looking for a project. I am too young to retire. They've given me a clean plate here to build a football club and you don't get that opportunity in the UK. Realistically to win the league in three years is achievable..."

Then Adams got his 'Managerial Cliche's book out and added: "It's evolution not revolution..."
