Young Prodigies Could Head
Back out on Loan...

Young Arsenal star Jack Wilshere could be set to spend another season away from the Emirates after Owen Coyle revealed his desire to keep him at the Reebok Stadium.

The Bolton Wanderers manager signed the 18-year-old midfielder on loan during January and the youngster has impressed both staff and fans with some impressive performances during his 13 appearances for the Trotters.

Despite all his undoubted skill, it remains to be seen whether Wilshere would command a regular first-team spot for Arsenal next season if he was to return to the Emirates. Because of this Coyle is hoping the offer of first-team football with the Trotters could persuade Arsene Wenger to allow him to rejoin Bolton for the next campaign.

When Coyle took charge the Premier League betting suggested Bolton could go down, but signings like Wilshere helped them stay up.

Coyle said: "If he wasn't going to be in the Arsenal team, I believe it would help myself, Jack and Arsenal to give me another six months.

"If Arsene and Arsenal don't think he will be playing regularly at the start of the season, give me another six months and I will give him back in January."

Meanwhile, another Arsenal youngster who could be heading back out of the Emirates is defender Kyle Bartley.

The 18-year-old has spent this season on loan with Sheffield United but has told the Star newspaper that he would like to return to the Championship side for another stint for next season.

Meanwhile, anyone who has placed a World Cup bet on Spain will be worried to learn that a number of key players are struggling with injury with Arsenal man Cesc Fabregas just one of several racing to be fit for the big kick off.
