Another Day at the Office... Ladies Lose...

Blackburn 2-1 Arsenal...
After losing the game at Wigan the other week from being 2-0 up, the game at Ewood was never in the bag at 1-0. An early goal from Robin van Persie had settled our nerves, but once again, the lads just didn't want to win enough. It's almost like they don't realise third place is far from signed, sealed and delivered. Blackburn played their usual beautiful game, oh so predictable kicking of our players, and assualt on our keeper at every opportunity, and they stuck at it, and it paid off.

Flappianski was pressured into more mistakes, although he did make two world class saves as well, but sadly, another defeat on the road, which now leaves us potentially staring down the barrel of a gun with 'fourth place, behind Spurs assuming they beat Man City on Wednesday...' written up the side... although it would actually need to be written at the bottom of the barrel, with an invisible bullet in there for us to see it...

Ladies Defeated...
If the nightmare against Blackburn wasn't enough punishment after these last few weeks, our always reliable Ladies were in the Ladies Cup Final today. They always win, they win everything, they are top of the league with games in hand, but guess what... they lost with a minute of extra time to go v Everton...
