West Hammered...
So another action packed game, and another win which sent us to the top of the league on Saturday night. A first half goal from Denilson and a late pen from Cesc Fabregas after an Agent Upson handball saw the game out. However, the controversy this week was Thomas Vermaelen's tackle on Franco, which saw a red card shown to the Belgian wonder er.. man. It was actually our first red card in 68 games easy to forget the amount of grief we get as a team for being hooligans. However, Manuel Almunia saved the penalty brilliantly, to keep the score at 1-0, and break West Ham hearts...
Then all eyes went to the Sunday, and despite an early Torres goal, Rooney United FC managed to take all three points at Old Trafford. Then just as it looked like the weekend would just be another weekend ticked off with wins for the top three, everyone's second favourite Senegalesionian El Hadji Diouf scored a header to nick a point off Chelsea at Ewook Park...

Double Good News...
Nothing to get too excited about, but Aaron Ramsey is walking without crutches, and Robin van Persie could be back and training in the next few weeks. The Dutchman still hasn't given up on playing in the World Cup, and said: "I am medically fit, but physically I have to gain, only then can I train with the full group. I'm not there yet but I've left a difficult period behind. For a few weeks I've been training with the ball and it looks good. I still hope I can take part in the final phase of the league and hopefully the Champions League. This has been my goal from the beginning..."
