Brown Down... City Downed... More...

Hull City 1 - 2 Arsenal... Bendtnertime Strikes Again!
Well, to be fair, it wasn't easy, Hull, despite being down to ten men had held on for most of the second half. Following a goal from Arshavin, and a very debatable penalty from Bullard, the game was poised at 1-1 and we were playing against ten men. With Oswald Boateng sent off for yet another hideous challenge in the second half, Hull had sat tight, stood firm and stopped us from opening the flood gates. It was an incredulous moment when the 4th official held up 6 minutes, and it inspired an amazing turn of events.

A shot from outside the box, come to think of it, a shot full stop. Denilson hit a long range effort and the Hull keeper parried... now right now, if there is one striker you don't want a parry to fall to... it's Nicklas Bendtner, but unfortunately for the Hullers, it did. WALLOP 2-1. You know all this, so lets move on...

Browns Off...
Very, very sad news today - one of the 92 best football managers in the country, lost his job. Yes, Sir Philip Brown was released today by Hull City hot on the heels of the mighty Arsenal getting all three points at the KC and the Sunshine Faced One Stadium. It's never nice to see anyone lose their job, well unless its him or Sam Allardyce naturally and its thought that Brown may well struggle to find another side with a shirt the same colour as his smug, orange, fat, fake suntanned face.

Very Early Team News...
News coming out of some newspapers who are probably making it up, claim the triumverate of Cesc Fabregas, Tomas Rosicky and Sol Campbell will all play in the team time game at the Emirates this weekend. Fabregas has been injured since the other day, so has Rosicky, and Campbell had an injury but will still play thanks to healing of some sort...

Sir Wenger said: "We should have some good news on the injury front because Tomas Rosicky and Cesc Fabregas both have a good chance to be ready for the West Ham game. William Gallas will not be fit but Sol Campbell is OK to start if we play once a week. When we play three games per week it is a bit too much..."

So we head into another week, still in touch with the leaders. Man United play Liverpool next weekend (Sunday at 1pm), while Chelsea travel to Blackburn (Sunday at 4pm). We play West Ham on ESPN on Saturday night again (in a slot we've yet to drop a point this season), so another chance to go top with a win. Don't stop believing, readers...
