Hull City 1 - 2 Arsenal... Bendtnertime Strikes Again!
Well, to be fair, it wasn't easy, Hull, despite being down to ten men had held on for most of the second half. Following a goal from Arshavin, and a very debatable penalty from Bullard, the game was poised at 1-1 and we were playing against ten men. With Oswald Boateng sent off for yet another hideous challenge in the second half, Hull had sat tight, stood firm and stopped us from opening the flood gates. It was an incredulous moment when the 4th official held up 6 minutes, and it inspired an amazing turn of events.
A shot from outside the box, come to think of it, a shot full stop. Denilson hit a long range effort and the Hull keeper parried... now right now, if there is one striker you don't want a parry to fall to... it's Nicklas Bendtner, but unfortunately for the Hullers, it did. WALLOP 2-1. You know all this, so lets move on...
Browns Off...
Very, very sad news today - one of the 92 best football managers in the country, lost his job. Yes, Sir Philip Brown was released today by Hull City hot on the heels of the mighty Arsenal getting all three points at the KC and the Sunshine Faced One Stadium. It's never nice to see anyone lose their job, well unless its him or Sam Allardyce naturally and its thought that Brown may well struggle to find another side with a shirt the same colour as his smug, orange, fat, fake suntanned face.
