Emma-nuel Eboue...

Five Star Bendtner... Gallas... Other Stuff...

IT'S BENDTNERTIME... 5-0 to the Arsenal...
Well, many people have been doubting the ability of one certain Theo Walcott this week, but it was another player who swept the headline Oscars in the Hollywood Emirates night time sunshine last night.

Jack 'Nicklas' Bendtner went all here's Johnny on us and managed to weild his boot like an axe, murdering his family metaphorically speaking and scoring a shining hat trick. What we're on about here no one knows, but what a game.

Gallery from last nights action...

Bendtner opened the scoring and doubled his tally early on following great work from Arshavin, meaning the tie swung back our way, and just as Porto looked to be getting back into it and threatened to score, Nasri scored a wonder goal. A mazy run through the defence, and a wallop across the keeper into the bottom corner.

Eboue put the tie beyond doubt, and after he was upended in the last mintute, guess who popped up to score...? That's it the Bendtner, for his hat trick, as good as it gets... (see what I did there--- never mind)

The game leaves us the only English team in the quarter finals so far, and on a real high. This weekend its back to domestic duty, with a visit to everyone's favourite satsuma faced weasel, Phil Brown and his tricky Hull City...

Gallas, Poor William, We Knew Him, Well...
We didn't but what we do know is he is injured again. Apparently he could be out for four weeks with a recurrence of his calf injury picked up against Liverpool in February. Its claimed he collapsed in training and Sir Wenger confirmed he's out for a month, meaning Sol/Silvestre will deputise alongside the Verminator.

Podcasts...
Never got into these before, but you could do worse than listen to ArseBlogger, and even Alan Davies' podcast is class. Loved both of their total refusal to accept any of the Shawcross rubbish we've been fed by the media, Alan Davies was going mental, thought he was gonna explode. Both podcasts available on iTunes for free...

Tottenham 0-10 Arsenal... a sign of things to come? Let's hope so...

In other news you already know about, we laboured to a 3-1 win over Burnley, losing Fabregas in the progress. Fabregas himself scored before limping off, then Theo and then Andrei Arshavin scored the third to take us joint top with Chelsea. Man United then laboured to a win over Wolves leapfrogging us and Chelsea to the top of the league once again. An interesting run in awaits...
