'Arry Not 'Appy... Gallas Sick... Stick it Up your Barca...

Juan Your Bike...
As one or two Gooners had seemed to forget just why they love the club we love recently, there was a little reminder yesterday in the stylish rebuff of Barcelona's paltry £30m offer for Cesc Fabregas. It went a little bit like this:

"Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas is under contract with the Club until the summer of 2015. He is a highly-valued member of the team and part of our future plans..."

"We have followed recent speculation linking Cesc with a move away from the Club but as there has never been any official approach for him, only two informal exchanges, in which we made it abundantly clear that we have no interest in transferring Cesc, we have refrained from publicly passing comment. However, yesterday evening we received an offer from Barcelona for Cesc and in response, we immediately and resolutely told them once again that we have no intention of selling our captain..."

"To be clear, we will not make any kind of counterproposal or enter into any discussion. Barcelona have publicly stated that they will respect our position and we expect that they will keep their word..."

WALLOP.

Ramsey thinks Arsenal is the place to be...

Fab Wrong re: Walcott...
'Arry Redknapp the saggy faced Arsenal fan currently plying his trade at White Hart Lane, was understandably disappointed when Theo didnt make the cut, for the England World Cup squad.

In his column in the The Sun, he said: "When it was announced on Tuesday, I - like pretty much the rest of the country - was absolutely gobsmacked that Theo Walcott wasn't in. Let's face it, if you're going to win the World Cup you need that something special in there and I think he provides it. He's a real threat, a match-winner who can turn things your way out of nothing, and, most importantly of all, he genuinely scares people..."

Loads more Joey Cole rumours which we're not reporting on today... still nothing concrete, just 'Arry's quote that Joey Cole might have signed for someone already... Zzzz....

Gallas Pulls Out...
William Gallas, technically still an Arsenal player, pulled out of a French training session with a stomach ache ahead of next weeks World Cup, snigger... ahem... perhaps he's got... tee hee... Gall-as Stones... hahahaha. oh.
