Ramseys Treat...
Aaron Elvis Ramsey was handed a new long term contract yesterday thought to be for around five years. Ramsey who you might remember from such incidents as Ryan Shawcross's horror leg breaker of a tackle, will now remain at Arsenal until he's at least 15...

Unlucky Theo...
GrooveRider Capello picked his final 23 for the World Cup, and sadly for us Gooners, there were no Arsenal players in his plans. To be fair, the only possible inclusion would have been Theo, but it was thought that he'd not done enough to deserve a place on the plane. Theo said he was hugely disappointed but wished the team good luck, and especially the pilot of the England plane, he added with a sinister grimace...

Cine video of Highbury back in the 70's... lump in the throat time...

Nice to see England, and the FA were so organised with their announcement of Capello's final squad. Instead of a nice early press conference, it was announced via various journalists, and the usual 'I just saw Theo at the hairdressers crying' so he is OUT of the squad. Very shoddy, but just what we've come to expect from our country...

Afobe Won...
...the U17s European Championships with England. Benik Afobe as he's known started for England in the final against Spain, as the plucky Englishers came from behind to win 2-1...

PHW Speaks: Uh Oh!
Lord Peter Hill-Wood has been speaking out about Sir Wenger's transfter kitty, and said he has plenty of cash to splash in this summers transfer market equivalent of Poundland. "It is our policy that we give the manager a transfer budget, which includes the ability to use all the money from player sales. He will get the money no matter how much we got from selling a player..."

Hill-Wood added: "Fábregas might stay, he might go, I have no idea, and have no intention of making any comment on the subject..."

Meanwhile, the Hampstead Heath planning permission department are set to have stern words with Hill-Wood after he didn't get planning permission granted for a new sculpture in his big, posh garden most probably. Yes readers, Theo aside, there is frick all going on...
