Bored on the 8th of July...
The worst kept transfer secret since our last drawn out transfer move is over. Laurent Koscielny has finally signed from Lorient for, yep, you've guessed it, an undisclosed fee. It's thought if it was disclosed, it would be in the region of £9/10m which will see the defender join up with the other long-named Johnny Foreigner; Tomas Vermaelen, and increase my keystrokes by around 40% when talking about defenders from now on...

Koscielny is a great addition to our squad..."

World Cup Final Update...
Cesc Fabregas will be the best player on the bench at the World Cup Final on Sunday, where his Spaniards will face Robin van Persie's Dutchlanders, where the two sides will meet for the first time EVER in a major tournament... FACT.

Luke Freeman is happy with his loan move to Yeovil Town, and cant wait to get started. He said: "I'm happy to be here, it's a nice town and stadium and everyone has been very welcoming. I'm getting to an age where I want some first-team experience. I've trained with the first team a few times as well and it's all been good experience. I'd like to go back to Arsenal in December or the end of the season and maybe look to play in the first team..."

WG Disgrace...
William Gallas has been sounding off about France's disappointing World Cup, citing the French coach for their failure. Gallas, now a free agent along with Sol Campbell and Mikael Silvestre, said: "If there has been a fiasco there are reasons and we must not close our eyes: they come from the coach, you can have the best players in your team - if you do not have a coach, you will not get results. The real problem was the coach. I was not good, we were not good, but the coach was not good either..."
