The Verm Stays Positive...
Thomas Vermaelen reckons we are all set to finally end our five year trophy drought next season. Following his first season since joining from Ajax which ended potless thanks to countless injuries and end of the season hidings from rubbish teams like Blackburn, Spurs and Wigan, Vermaelen said: "I am convinced that next year we can win trophies with this team. We had a lot of injuries, and if we can all be fit for a long time next season, it will be a good year for us..."

Wengers Dream World Cup XI... what no Heskey? Shocking scenes.

Gooners Fit...
Robin van Persie and Cesc Fabregas have both been passed fit for their respective countries' semi-final appearances in the World Cup this week. Van Persie's Dutchers play Uruguay on Tuesday and Cesc Fabregas' Spain will play the efficient Germans on Wednesday, to potentially set up a mouth watering clash between the two remaining Arsenal player on Sunday...

It was thought that van Persie may miss the game with an elbow injury, but will now play, and its thought that Fabregas has an ear problem caused by all of the incessant sh*te spoken by the Barcelona players in his lughole over the past four weeks in the Spanish dressing room...

Looks like Koscielny could be coming soon as Lorient sign a new centre back...

Messi Speaks...
Second best player in the world (after Eboue) Lionel Messi has been speaking of his surprise at the omission of Theo Walcott from the England squad for this summer's World Cup.

Following dreadful, anonymous performances from most of the England squad, Messi said: "I must say that at the time I thought it was a bad decision to leave Theo Walcott at home, and I think that has been proved right. I can only speak from experience but he was one of the most dangerous players I have ever played against. Barcelona players are not scared easily but I can tell you that when we played Arsenal last season he truly worried us..."

Keeper Latest...
Following yet more made up Daily Mail nonsense, it seems as though the Portugueuse goalie is now on his way to Genoa to sign a four year deal, as opposed to coming to Arsenal as made up over the weekend... yawn.

Arsenalisation Continualisation...
Looks like our lucky charm is back. No, not Amaury Bischoff, but the Highbury clock. You might remember the clock from such ends as The Clock End, but Ivan Gazellereadis has stuck to his word and got the clock back in the stadium as part of the ongoing stadium 'Arsenalisation'.

There have also more friendlies announced for our reserves, Crawley Town, Welling United, Dagenham and Redbridge and AFC Wimbledon... more details here...
