The Crustacean Situation...
You won't believe the amount of emails we get asking about our talismanic red fisted Thai crab Eduardo. We didn't believe it either when the tally arched up to one this week, so we thought an update was in order.

Eduardo is doing well, he has come out of his shell a bit more now if you'll pardon the obvious, but one victim of his success in the tank, is er... most of the other fish, cos he's eaten them. There are a few survivors in the tank, but the mystery of the missing fish coincide with Eduardo's arrival. Pics later this week of his progress...

Still a Striker Light...
We're still down that fox in the box according to Sir Wenger and the transfer window is now worryingly more shut than it is open. Andrey Arshavin has been deputising for the injured van Persie and the injured van Bendtner, but thats not a solution said le Boss: "Andrey is very good in the short space. He started very well up front but in the last few games he had a few more difficulties. He had a foot injury and could kick the ball properly. He is now coming back, but I do not deny as well that our plan in the future is to put him back where he was - playing on the left..."

As you know, ArsenalShorts prides itself on not reporting on pointless rumours, but here's hoping Sir Wenger has a Homer Simpson style ace up his sleeve...

Sol Campbell Suing Pompey...
New old signing Sol Campbell is suing his old club Portsmouth for £1.7m following the great Sol Campbell unpaid wages scandal of 2009. Sol is out of pocket for the three years he played at Fratton Park and apparently the club's lawyers are looking into the situation...

Yoofs Out...
The FA Cup winning side of last year will not be regaining their title this season following a 2-0 defeat at home at the hands of Ipswich Town. Two early goals were enough for the Junior Tractor boys to progress leaving Steve Boulds men to concentrate on the league. Wolfgang Amadeus Frimpong played well but like a blind fisherman couldn't find the net...

KG Be Gone...
Kerrea Gilbert has finally joined Peterborough United on loan for an initial three months. United's Manager Mark Cooper said: "We've been chasing him for a while as we haven't got a dedicated right back..."
