Jack Off...?
Following reports that little Jack Wilshere could join a) Burnley b) Bolton, there is a new name on the block. Steve McLarens' FC Twente, the Dutch side might be keen to take Jack on loan and give him some valuable first team experience...
Posh In for Gilbert...?
Defender Kerrea Gilbert could be on his way to Peterborough United if the evil Barry Fry has his evil way.
Fry wants the player in place for the weekend, and said: "Both Kerrea and his agent have told me he is desperate to come here on loan for the rest of the season and then think about doing something permanent in the summer. Hopefully we can get it resolved with Arsenal and have him in for Saturday..."
New Dimension in Rumours...
The Daily Mirror has us loaning out Bolivian wonder/whizz-kid Samuel Galindo to a Spanish club before we've even signed him.
They reckon we might buy him for £500,000, then struggle to get a work permit so we're looking to loan him out to a Spanish club... he might then break his leg, score ten hundred goals before marrying Akers in a civil partnership and retire to the Isle of Man...
Send - He's Off...
Big Phil Senderos has reiterated his desire to leave Arsenal to further his chance of playing for Switzerland in the World Cup in the summer. He will be available in the summer on a Billy Boswell and with this weeks' Hollywood signing of Sol Campbell pushing him further down the pecking order, he's had enough: "I want to go, I need to be playing ahead of the World Cup and I don't want to play in the reserves any more. I really just want to leave..."
Harrys Tips...
Tax evader and all round cockney wide boy Harry Redknapp has been speaking about our signing of the Sol. He reckons that Sol is still worth a Campbell gamble, but won't be playing for England any time soon: "Sol Campbell may well help Arsenal to win the Premier League title but he will not help England to win the World Cup. Sol is still a great player and, in terms of cover for Arsenal's two central defenders, is a great choice..."
Arsenal originally signed Sol Campbell, then the Tottenham captain, the first time on a free transfer. Not relevant I'm sure you'll agree, but still very, very funny.
