Striker Deal Done... Arshavin Out... Saha...

< Previous | February 14th 2010 | Next story >

Apologies for the lack of updates last couple of days. Thing was right, despite us being multi-millionaires, we had this cheap Tesco Pay as you Go Phone. We had all the updates stored on there, and we lent it to another multi-millionaire mate of ours, you might have heard of him, DJ MasterStepz, pretty big in the clubs? Anyways, he ran off with the updates, and sent them all to some chick. Hopefully you bought that lot, and onto to the news, of which there is very little...

Chamakh Shamone...
According to numerous reports, too many to ignore this time, its looking likely that we will be signing Bordeaux's Moroccan striker Marouane Chamakh. The 26 year old is set to sign on a Freddie Boswell deal in the summer, and is all set to earn around £2.5million a year, 22 days off + bank holidays, plus he gets a free Tesco's Pay as You Go mobile...

Made Up Quote of the Day...
Reporter to Toni Terry: "So what prompted you to take back the multi-millionaire John Terry...?"

Early Porto Team News...
Looks like Alex Song and Andrey Arshavin will miss the Porto game through injury. Eduardo and Samir Nasri will return from injury, but Arshavin will definitely miss the clash due to the hamstring what broke v Liverpool: "If all goes well, I get back on the pitch as early as the next Premier League match against Sunderland, however, the next game against Porto in the Champions League I will miss..."

Teams Go Four Van...
RVP has admitted he could have joined Chelsea, Man City and 2 other more foreign clubs last summer, but didn't - obviously. Van Persie also said in the News of the World: "Even if you want to leave, as a player, I don't think it is easy because when you move to Arsenal you are led there by your heart..." Ah bless...

"Limp, lifeless, dull...?" Thanks Cheryl, thats enough about Ashley, tell us about the shampoo.

Brady Leaves Ireland Post...
Legendary Liam Brady has decided to leave his job with Ireland and concentrate on his youth development programme at Arsenal. Brady said: "The decision to end my involvement with Ireland has been taken in light of my continued work as Director of Youth Development at Arsenal. The Ireland role required me to be away a lot of time and although Arsenal made it clear they would have been quite happy for me to continue, I have decided it is not right in the circumstances to remain in position after I complete my contract this April..."

Looks like it was Saha we tried to sign before the deadline, not Soren Lorenson...
