One minute, we're dead and buried after being outmuscled by Roman's soulless, historyless, dead behind the cold, cold eyes, non-feeling, destroyers of football, then the very next minute, the same soulless hist-- CHELSEA go and lose to Everton at Goodison Park meaning we are at least still on some kind of a title tilt.
Add to this a United draw with Villa, a great win for Wolves over Top3Tottenham, and all we had to do was win. Which we did. Against Liverpool, thanks to a fairly late Abu Dhabi goal. The win sees us just 6 points off the summit, with, what on paper looks like a gentle run coming up. Porto next, but first a well deserved rest for our overpaid, underbothered stars...
A match wouldn't be complete with further additions to our injury list, and last night was no exception. Alex Song has done something to his medial knee ligaments, Andrey Arshavin has a hamstring problem, and Nasri got an elbow in the face and was a big groggy, all are hoping to be fit for Porto next week...
