Cot to Trott...
Theo is raring to go for the out of form Gunners against the out of form Scousers this weekend.

Despite only playing five games this season so far, he claims he's not an injury prone player: "It's been a long time so the main thing is get no more injuries and play some part for the team on Sunday. The funny thing is that the injuries are no fault of my own. It's just very bad luck. I am not an injury-prone player..."

Bendtner Setback...
We all knew it was coming, but Sir Wenger has announced that Nicklas Bendtner will be out of action for a few more weeks. Probably until the new year.

Bendtner picked up a groin injury during our 3-0 victory over Spurs, and was thought the be close to a return. AW confirmed: "Let's say the New Year. It is quite disappointing because he looked quite sharp and he was short from coming back into the squad..."

Team News...
As usual, its not good, with Emmanuel Eboue and Tomas Rosicky out of the game along with long term absentees like Bendtner, RVP and all them. In yesterday's press conference, Wenger confirmed Gallas, Traore, The Cesc and Andrey Arshavin should all be fit to play and Eduardo and Diaby may return...

Vela Resigns...
Carlos Vela has signed a six year deal to remain with the mighty Gunners. AW said: "We're delighted that Carlos Vela has signed a new long-term contract with the club, Carlos is a fantastic talent and we have already seen glimpses of this during his performances..."

The Mexican said: "I'm very happy to sign a new contract and I'm very excited to be spending more years with Arsenal, I just want to work hard and help this great club win trophies. I want to stay here for a long time and it's a great responsibility. I will keep working hard to show the boss and all the fans why I'm here..."
