Red Bull Gave Us Wins... Nice Keeper Signs...

New York Red Bulls 1-0 Arsenal...
in our first big name friendly (no offence Boreham Wood), we were put to the sword by Bradley Wright-Phillips who scored the only goal of the game against his Dad's old club. Thierry Henry played part of the game and left to a standing ovation throughout the whole stadium. Still without our German and French players due to the World Cup, Tomas Rosicky started up front, and when pressed on why Yaya Sanogo hadn't travelled to the USA, Wenger confirmed he had a thigh problem, and they didn't want to take a gamble on it...

A few more players will be back training next week following their World Cup's and subsequent holidays, and it's less than 3 weeks until the new season starts. Arsene Wenger has confirmed the Germans, who obviously went furthest in the competition, i.e. winning it and all, will miss the start of the season against Crystal Palace at home. Keeper Signs...
The club have officiallly announced the signing of David Ospina from French club Nice (where they make those biscuits with the sugar on) for as always, a fee which they've chosen to undisclose.

It's thought the deal was worth about £3.5m and the Colombia will join for a 'long term'. Arsene Wenger has long been an admirer of the player who did well in this summer's World Cup, and he also confirmed, him and Szczesny will fight through the season for the number one jersey, metaphorically speaking we hope.

Talking of transfers, there's strong rumours that we will complete the signing of Southampton's Calum Chambers this week. The youngster is another right back, which could see Carl Jenkinson move away on loan, and there's also talk of a move for Frenchman Morgan Schneiderlin as well as, Arsene Wenger continues to bolster his FA Cup winning squad...

Football Betting...
It is known that 97% of gamblers don't succeed in making a profit over long term in Football Betting. As a punter you need to think Football betting in the same way as bookmakers do: only by looking if there is value in odds you can upset the margin built in their favour.
